Lions rescue an eagle from a black mamba snake

@gunsnrosesgirl3 “Rescue” is very subjective in this instance. Lions were poking for a quick, easy meal.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 More likely ... the lions wanted to eat the eagle.

Cats (including lions) are fast and can tackle any snakes 🐍 (cobras and mambas) and this playful lion looking to steal the hapless bird from the snake. Eventually the eagle 🦅 escaped unscathed. It’s irony that eagles too kill and eat snakes. But unfortunately that is not in this case. This clip is more engaging and interesting than any mindless TikTok or Instagram reels of so called influencers🙄😤.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I don't think they wanted to rescue it but they wanted a little afternoon snack.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I’m going to assume that bird (not a eagle)made an attempt at making the snake a meal and ended up on the wrong side of the fight. The lions just wanted a free meal. lol

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I assure you. This was not a rescue. This was attempting to steal an easy meal. Just missed out.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Food fight, but the main course flew the coup.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 "Rescue"😂😂😂 They wanted that lunch. It was the eagles lucky day after all.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 That’s a vulture

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Looked more like they wanted the eagle for themselves

@gunsnrosesgirl3 No one is having snacks today 😭

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Kinda. They didn't *mean* to rescue it! They wanted to eat it!

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Hmm, interesting. The black mamba has powerful venom. I assumed the venom alone would kill that eagle.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 That lioness is looking at the human with the camera and thinking "wtf are you good for... I'm gonna save this bird and then I'm gonna eat you"

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Was that an eagle or a vulture? Looked like a vulture

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Lions were trying to rescue their dinner.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 👏👏👏👏

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Remarkable i never realized Lions and Eagles were such good friends

I’ve seen videos of lions suffering and dying from poisonous snake bites and it’s horrific, I’m glad the lion nor the eagle from what I’ve gathered were not bitten. Sometimes mother nature has other plans when everything surrounding you is either an apex predator or prey. Great outcome for all.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Things that happen in nature sometimes are simply amazing. Imagine the things that happen that are never seen or caught with a camera!

@gunsnrosesgirl3 the woman talking ruins the video.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 This is one of the most outstanding wildlife recordings I have ever seen conversations across different species. 2 badasses screaming how much tougher they are than the other....... pussy always wins‼️

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Since when lions are helpful

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Crikey! Who’s gonna step in and save beautiful zebras when the lions are feelin’ a bit peckish and ready for lunch mate? It’s the wild out here ~nature’s raw~untamed and full of drama Heroes they say

@gunsnrosesgirl3 @BackOfTheNest @eagleeyedball @cpfcfanatics @CPFC @PalaceReport @cpfctristan Is this a lucky omen for #CPFC regarding #UFEA the snake?

@gunsnrosesgirl3 The lions wanted to steal the snake's dinner.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Or: “Yeah, thanks for catching that but now it’s óur meal.” And then the meal just flew away, very ungrateful 😛

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Why the bird was not poisoned is my thought.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I hate snakes. All snakes, even if they are human males.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 looked like easy prey to them - but then it flew away...

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Stop anthropomorphising. The "rescue" was incidental.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 well if that's not an allegory, nothing is.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Phew 😮‍💨 That was amazing!!

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Die wollten den nicht rescuen die wollten den selbst fressen.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 The mamba must not have bitten him.
