Telugu movie makers know about their candidates better than rest of us. 👍

Same state as @satyanadella. But wait “One person who made it to top, how can it make the whole community intellectual”. Exactly the same logic applies when a small bunch of people who resort to these things doesn’t make the whole community corrupt. I myself rejected many people like that, there are bad candidates but not a bad community, stop generalizing.!

I have repeatedly encountered such candidates during the interview. They are most of the times from Andhra. My enterprise customers say it clearly before hiring a resource, they won’t interview candidates from Andhra.

And many has travelled to the US with H1B by faking degree and experience. For people with orginal degree and experience good things will not happen

Not just lip synching there are many other issues I have seen in my life. One of my resource came to the United States but did not even knew English. Basic English. It was hard to communicate. Then there are people who take 500$ per interview to do interview for you. The ethics is lacking with people.

When it comes to faking telgus are king. That's why we find a lot of these origin people in the IT industry.

I have had colleagues from that particular state in US, after forging resumes and somehow clearing interviews they have zero urge to learn on the job. I personally had to “school” two guys to make them aware if they don’t learn & if they ever get into the list of layoffs they would have hard time later. But they hardly care.

One of my HR friends mentioned that mostly Telugu people are the ones who do these tricks.
