The only thing that you really gain from that process is stopping the cracks from growing. You’re not gonna remove it or make it gone. You can get it down small enough where most people won’t spot it, but you know it’s there and you will go cross eyed and crazy staring at it. I think that’s the reason why they don’t allow it in the viewing area of the driver.

Nobody uses dental bits to drill them anymore. Lots of you guys did on heated Land Rovers and burned out the harness in the dash. The repair comes out better with thin viscosity chip filler and a thicker one over the top. And this stuff was invented for skyscrapers in the 50s.

As long as there is no cracking, if you get this done right away it works perfectly. Done it a few times over the decades, solid tech been around since the 80s.
