I had promised myself I wouldn't cry at scenes from #afterlife anymore. Failed again.

I absolutely love this.

I think every partner that still loves, wants their other half to be happy when they are gone. It would be unfair to say, I hope the next 30 years you have left, you are miserable and very lonely. See how awful that sounds, how could one leave it like that, nah, always be happy.

Such a great show.

I’m not good with death at all. When my Nan died, we’ll (a few) make a family outing to her grave. — I always leave a mug of tea. As an atheist (as she was), I never see the point in these pointless dignitaries but I suppose it’s the humour and human in us that keeps us going.

@rickygervais Beautiful!

the only real "criticism" i have of the show is the timing of this poem. it's brilliant and moving, but for me, coming after the hospital scene with the kids, took away from it's impact. felt like there needed to be a "mood stabilising" scene in between, something "funny"

❤️❤️❤️❤️

@rickygervais A favourite serie
