Most South Africans are poor. Very few are middle class or were raised rich. Many cannot identify with someone whose life hasn’t had poverty in it & because of that, many even question whether such an existence exists so they’d dismiss it as not being authentic.

She explained it so well. And this other guy was explaining how brands sometimes prefer to worth with the ones having luxurious lifestyle instead of the ones called authentic. Saw this other guy being authentic and relatable with 1 million followers but zero brand campaigns

I’d never clap for poverty no matter how authentic or organic the content may seem, I hate poverty and I don’t even want to see how people are handling it
