Ur crazy bro lol what’s the difference? I have my whole life put into this and do everything completely solo. Almost lost everything actually. All from a dehue somehow leaking refrigerant and spitting it thru the fan over half the crop. Had to straight up toss it in the trash.

I’m not denying what you have put into it but again no business at scale throws out their product. We can agree or disagree as to whether it’s right or wrong but the fact is the fact. It gets sold regardless. If you can give me one example of say someone with 50+ lights throwing out a harvest I’ll eat my words.

I can say I had one bad drop that if I could rewind I would have dropped the ECSD. I went outside my normal growers. Bad drop. Other than that I’d drop everything again no hesitation. Everything performs. Whether or not people like the high, flavor or what not is on their personal preference.

At least you acknowledged that ECSD wasn’t it. It wasn’t the worst but definitely not up to the standard we’re looking for. And it being priced the same as all of your other drops, you can understand the frustration people are experiencing. I don’t know when you realized it was a “bad” drop but the price didn’t reflect that. Most of the “bad” reviews are centered around the price for the drop.

QC only mattering for competition ignores the connoisseur market. People paying top dollar expect purity and performance, every batch. If QC disappears when there’s no trophy on the line, you’re not producing connoisseur-grade flower, you’re hoping the customer won’t notice.

QC disappeared for me when I stopped smoking on my every day drops. My clients are thrilled. So agree to disagree.

People forget that real growers have SOP and aren’t making it up as they go. Once the process is locked in the results will be great and replicable.

I get what you're saying. The Quality Control is in the vetting process of the growers. If you have to QC every nug you probably don't trust your grow team much.

Hey @B_Eazyllc I understand your stance, especially at the scale you work with. However, would you recommend that more junior growers or brands doing QC to establish the cred that you or elusive earned?

Here’s my question. If it fails QC what are you going to do with the work?

In general id expect it wouldn’t sell well, especially if it’s not a big brand like yours id cut my losses and turn it all into butter for the Mrs. or fuck around and do a hotbox tent at a bbq or something just for the exp. Better than trashing rep and work, right? Idk

Bottom line if 5/10 smokers say that "this ain't it" it shouldn't release or discounted I'd put up a stink if id eaten really good meal at a Michelin Star restaurant and decided that id go spend there again and the meal was trash. I'd really want to know what I was paying for?
