I like how I haven't seen Inuyasha in literally at least a decade, but the SECOND I saw those lilies I started singing lmao

Its 4 am on a thursday and you wake up groggy knowing you have to get ready for school. Things are tough but you're grateful for another day. 5 am rolls around and you're walking out to this song. Everything's alright.

My alltime favorite ED. Not just cuz it's a banger song, but also the symbolism. The way Kikyo bends the scarlet lilies, symbols of death, in defiance of her own fate. How Kagome looks out of step in her own world, increasingly discordant as she grows w/ Inuyasha. Just beautiful.

The Ferris wheel lives in my head

I remember seeing this ED on the TV when I was a child late at night at the daycare I went to. My mother got off work late, so I would catch Inuyasha right before she came to pick me up. Years later I actually sat down and paid attention to the series.

It's kind of hilarious that, since Adult Swim never aired any of the openings but played the full endings, this is, like, the only show where the endings are more well known than the openings, aside from those with meme dances.

I love this song so much, I sang a cover of it. Someone telling me they thought it was better than the original was the highest praise I think I could have gotten. I don't agree, but I appreciated the praise.
