Price collapsed, people pulled coins from the shielded pool and confidence disappeared almost overnight Then Ironwood arrived in July The compromised Orchard pool was permanently sealed and replaced with a new shielded pool Coins moving into the new system had to pass through a controlled migration process allowing the supply to be accounted for again A counterfeit coin couldn’t simply enter the new pool unnoticed The code was repaired but more importantly the supply became believable again That’s the first half of the current ZEC move: repair The second half is expansion Roughly 28% of circulating ZEC is now held inside shielded pools up from around 23% a year ago Shielded activity has also grown substantially People aren’t only talking about privacy, more of them are actually using it Who owns those shielded coins? The honest answer is that we don’t know And not knowing isn’t a flaw in Zcash, it’s the product You can see value moving from transparent addresses into a shielded pool but you can’t see who controls it or where it goes afterwards That’s why claims that “governments are secretly buying” or “insiders are hiding supply” should be treated carefully, the system doesn’t give us enough information to prove or disprove either story What we can measure is the transparent side Grayscale’s zcash:native now gives investors regulated exposure to ZEC through a US-listed ETF, that demand isn’t hidden, it sits inside a regulated KYC-compliant product So the lazy “this is all black money” explanation doesn’t really fit the data we can see The simpler explanation is that demand for financial privacy rises as surveillance and restrictions increase Europe has placed additional pressure on privacy coins under MiCA, some exchanges have restricted ZEC and other jurisdictions are treating privacy assets as a separate regulatory category Normally, regulatory pressure is supposed to reduce demand With privacy, it can also remind people why the product exists Zcash is changing in another way too For years it had one clear job: private payments Now Zcash Shielded Assets are opening the door to private tokens, collectibles and NFT experiments. ZecBit is working on shielded NFT infrastructure while other projects are experimenting with private ownership and sealed-bid auctions That ecosystem is still early, I wouldn’t pretend otherwise But for the first time Zcash is developing a culture layer on top of its privacy layer That gives people another reason to hold and use the network beyond sending money The timing of this rally is probably what makes it stand out most The Fed raised rates The CLARITY Act failed to advance Bitcoin briefly traded around $75K ZEC still climbed roughly 35% While everyone else was waiting for direction from the Senate and the Fed a network built around escaping financial surveillance barely cared Maybe that’s the point For me this move stands on two legs The first is repaired trust after Ironwood The second is growing utility around shielded assets and applications The metric I’ll keep watching isn’t a politician a headline or a mystery whale It’s the amount of ZEC entering and remaining inside shielded pools If that number keeps rising the privacy premium has real usage behind it If it stalls the rally becomes much easier to describe as speculation There is a fair bearish argument here too F2Pool co-founder Chun Wang has described the move as a narrative-driven short squeeze. He has a point privacy still isn’t the default setting and a near-vertical move always attracts leverage and momentum traders The chart is stretched so I’m not treating every green candle as a safe entry $1,400 is the first short-term pivot Below that, $1,250-$1,300 is the main demand area I want to see defended A clean break and hold above the recent high around $1,530 would open $1,650 first followed by a possible extension toward $1,800 Lose $1,100 and the structure starts looking much weaker September 30 is the next date on my calendar, features that aren’t ready for the coming NU7 upgrade by that deadline may be dropped from this release So yes, part of this move may be a squeeze But it’s difficult to call the entire rally empty when the network has repaired its biggest credibility problem shielded usage is growing and a new application layer is beginning to appear at the same time Zcash spent years selling one idea Privacy when you need it The market may finally be deciding that it needs it Not financial advice, just how I’m reading the data and the chart

Once you get to two strikes, it becomes a team at-bat. Grind it out. Compete your tail off. Choke up, shorten up, widen out, move closer to the plate — whatever helps you execute your two-strike approach. Some call it their “B swing.” Make the pitcher work. We preach “look fastball away and adjust,” but there are plenty of effective two-strike approaches. You have to experiment and find what fits your swing and mindset best. A quality two-strike approach often leads to hard-hit balls. But even when it doesn’t, the defense still has to field it, throw it, and catch it. That’s pressure. A lot tougher to defend than a right turn back to the dugout. #DoingDirtWork

hyunsuk and jihoon snuck into the dorms at lunch scared the staff would catch them eating ramen in secret but got even more scared when the door opened but nobody was there + it wont close on its own as it should 😭 #최현석 #지훈 (at 11:52 of the content) 🦔 (heard the sound of door code pressed, door opening and shoes taken off but the sound stopped there and nobody came in) 🦔 we thought someone arrived… tbh that time we snuck out without the staff knowing so we were alr scared 🦔 “oh we cant get caught though” so we both froze for awhile and tbh when we were trainees, they were very strict… 🦔 we were gonna eat ramen in secret that time so we hid it and figured out what to do and when we settled down, no one came in. 🦔 (said they’d hear it if they went somewhere) 🦔 from then on, bc jihoon and i get scared so easily, were like “you go!” “no, you go” and argued for about 10 mins cos we get easily scared. 🦔 i eventually went out to check but there was no one near the shoe rack and the funny thing is it was just jihoon and i, just the two of us so there should only be two pairs of shoes, though there were untiedied shoes too, but there was another pair of shoes that weren’t there when we came in. so we wondered if someone came in quietly but in the end it’s really just the two of us inside the dorms. 🦔 and what was scarier was that like in most apartment buildings, the front door force closes so strongly so if you dont hold it open, it would automatically close right? ours is the same. it wasnt even left on a veryain angle but it stayed open… 🦔 so we spent another 10 mins arguing again and i went outside thinking someone must be holding on to it but there really was no one there. so we tried closing and opening it at that angle again and let go of it but it would close definitely. it doesnt make sense right? 🦔 so thats when i first understood it when people say when you’re truly scared, you cant even scream, you just freeze. 🦔 after we snapped out of it, we wer able to check the intercom footage, but nobody got off the elevator, nobody came up the stairs either, it just showed the door opening by itself like this so we were absolutely terrified and i think we left right away.

You've probably scrolled past a dozen posts about Jev this week without anyone telling you what it actually is. It's the first model from TypeSafe, a lab started by one of the researchers behind ChatGPT. It's a decision engine: you give it options, it picks one and tells you how sure it is. It cannot write a single word, and that is the interesting part. Every other AI you use writes. That is the whole interface. So when software needs a plain yes or no, we make a model write a paragraph and then dig the answer back out of it. Fine in a chat window where a human reads it. Bad inside software, where code has to act on it. The bet is that the valuable half was never the writing. It was the deciding. That problem showed up in WordPress years ago, and it is the reason WPVibe works the way it does. The AI does the work. Anything permanent stops and waits, because a delete that skips the trash is not something software should decide on its own.

Archaeologists in Livorno, Italy, are putting together the pieces of a great mystery that began with a stunning find. While hiking in a cleared area of a Tuscan forest northeast of Livorno, a member of the Livorno Paleontological Archaeological Group spotted a few glimmering coins in the dirt in November 2021. It’s impossible to know exactly who buried the coins, Alderighi said, but the coins would most likely have been the treasure of a former soldier who served during Rome’s Social War from 91-88 BC and during civil war between Sulla and Marians from 83-82 BC. The owner of the hoard buried it in a terra-cotta pot, which served as a sort of piggy bank. The earliest coins in the stash dated to 157 or 156 BC, and the latest up to 83 or 82 BC, according to archaeological group’s release. During that time, 175 denarii would have been a soldier’s salary for about a year and a half, Alderighi said. Now, the treasure has a value of around 20,000 to 25,000 euros, she added. The coins were preserved well in their buried state. Only two are fractured, but they can be reassembled, the release noted. You and your family enjoy the day at the aquarium and you are on your way out. The parking garage’s electronic gate was malfunctioning, no matter how you pay and it shows you paid, the arm wouldn’t raise to allow people people to leave. An attendant showed up and said they were working on it. After what felt like an eternity, a man walked up to the machine and held it up for people to leave while the attendant was visibly angry and was calling the police because the man was helping people leave without paying, should the man be arrested for helping people leave without paying or was it the attendant’s fault for not fixing the issue?

Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. They can still suck unless you use the right tricks: PBR, HDRIs, material blending, displacement, and faked surface relief. So why is Blender important here? Blender is open source, and many tools around it are open source too. An AI trained on their code. That means it can translate the math from one environment to another quite accurately.
