Chann was shocked with my response to Cam, but I’m not salty that he mocked my career. I mean, he basically told the world he was more gifted than me… Duh! So, I didn’t switch up. I backed Cam a while back, & again this week. This was his second shot at me in as many weeks, & he has every right to feel how he feels. Still, if he were using my career to inspire, rather than insult it would sound much different. He would say an undrafted guy built himself into something from nothing, but it’s ok he didn’t have to. Real quick thoughts on Bellum - which entered Beta yesterday. 1) There is nothing else like it. It's the only game designed specifically to force teamwork in a hardcore PVP tactical shooter. It does it in new ways: SA tools locked to leadership roles, novel respawn mechanics requiring you to maneuver near teammates and punishes lone wolves, and more. 2) It's a game about gunfights, and it does them so damn well. Fire and maneuver works. Fire superiority matters. Cover, concealment, obscuration, even IMTs are rewarded while bonzai charges are nearly always fatal. 3) I think what speaks to me most is how well it models the cognitive overload of a maneuver leader. A Squad leader in this game is monitoring/working up to 2 nets + local at once - Command, Squad, and VOIP. This is modeled in other games, of course. But Bellum adds some spice - your hand comes off your weapon to activate the PTT, so you can't fire particularly well or do medical tasks while working a net. By default, you have platoon assault net in one ear and squad assault in the other. It feels like I'm wearing peltors for an FMP or going on target. But despite all of the stimulus, leaders have to stay locked in to win, painting the picture for their squads, reporting higher, marking the map, and getting shit done despite the chaos. It's in day 2 of beta, so I'll hold my criticisms for now. But this game is on track to do some things we've not seen before, and to do them exceptionally well. Very excited to see where this one goes.

"Insanely yours, Durandal." To celebrate Marathon's launch, I made a thing. I hope you like it. 🤙🏼 Marathon was my whole identity growing up. Some of my favorite memories of playing games with my Dad. I have a marble notebook (do people still use those?) that 2nd grade me filled cover to cover with a fan fic about my best friends and I being isekai'd up to the Marathon to fight the Pfhor and save the world. I drew the Marathon symbol on every piece of homework I ever turned in. I tried to learn Warhammer 40k so I could play Tau just because their symbol looked like the Marathon logo. I might have been a little obsessed. I can't express how important this IP is to me. And while I'm a sad that extraction shooters aren't really my thing, so my ability to enjoy it is limited, I care so much about seeing this title succeed, so that more people can fall in love with the thing that captured my imagination as a kid. And who knows, so that maybe I can find my way into it some day. Anyway, I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite characters – Durandal – with a reading from your first encounter with him in the original game. I think this WYLD activity was very meaningful, and it was my first full-length album, and my biggest desire was to show a really improved version of myself over the past two years, and I also thought a lot about wanting to be recognized, but since I didn't have those thoughts, I did have a lot of doubts about whether it was okay to make music on my own. You all have created such a wonderful situation for me, and since I am receiving all your hearts, memories, support, and passion, it feels like passion is pouring into my heart once again. I am so grateful, and I really didn't expect to win first place today. So, I actually didn't prepare an acceptance speech, so it was really funny, right? I think I was rambling a lot. I don't think I remember it very well, and I feel really dazed. I'm still dazed right now, and I was so flustered that I even wondered, "How did I even shed those tears?" It was actually a really stressful situation for me to begin with. I couldn't sleep well and kept having nightmares, and I was spending each day hoping that things would improve because of this album, but I am so, so grateful for you creating such a wonderful situation. That's the largest "tiny puppy" I've ever seen 😮🥰 We got a bond quite early on. He used to follow me around the pen since he was little. We used to play hide and seek. I used to hide behind the wall and run to the other side and he would run after me. But the bigger he got, this big bull coming bouncing after you probably wasn't the best idea. But he loved a little bit of hide and seek. So he's too old now, he doesn't play hide and seek anymore. We just play cuddles instead. I don't even know how cuddles started. You know, one day I was just having a really bad day and he was lying down, he was flat out, and I was just like 'Oh, I just need a cuddle.' And I just talked to him and he just turned his head and cuddled right into me. I was like, 'Oh, he loves cuddles.' And ever since then we've had cuddles every day 💖 He's never been like a proper bull. He's never had any badness in him really. He's just been as quiet as a lamb ever since. I go up to the cows, they kind of keep me sane if you like. He's literally my world. When you go up and he's here peering over the top of the wall with his little ears, just checking to make sure it was me. He just literally is my safe haven. He puts some sense into me and calms me down, chills me out. And I'm like a different person when I walk back out that cowshed. So yeah, he's literally my world. MY HOUSE STORY From 2020 - 2025.( 5Years of house struggle) • In 2020 I was chased out of my One Room Apartment because I couldn't pay 36,000 Naira for house rent and I was 6 months Overdue, So I went to stay in Church and all through Covid I was in Church although I was in 200level but I didn't go home, • In 2021 I moved to a friend's place and Few Months into staying, he would cook and lock the food in a locker whenever he was going out, He tried for me because a roof over my head was more than Enough, Then I went back to Squat with another friend in School Hotel, From 2021 and then I was already attending another church which I started staying in. • In 2022 Which was the year I graduated. I had some issues with the guy I was staying with in School Hotel in 2022 So my graduation day I had no where people could visit me, So I remember not snapping picture with my classmates while graduating because I didn't have a white so I sneaked out and went to cry in church, It was my best friend at the time that came looking for me and gave me his white to snap when it was already getting dark. • 2022 I Started Squatting Off campus and still staying in church. • In 2023 - 2024 fourth Quarter I was staying in an abandoned Office in a lecture hall, So when I'm inside before lectures I cannot come out till Evening that lecture is done and people go home, and that's when I can come out stroll to school hostel to even bath. Y'all know how I was able to get my apartment last year so no need for that story. I could have gotten a GLE with 32m but I choose a land because I suffered so much to get roofs over my head for 5years. I couldn't believe I will be wherd I am in just a year.
