Literally over 581

Since April, I have applied to over 581 jobs, completed 12 multiple rounds of interviews, and received 0 offers. I’m fried tbh. 🥹

And what’s crazy is out of 581 only has about 30 rejected!! Because some of these company’s are literally just not sending out anything at all after you apply.. no rejection no next round .. just silence

I just track on LinkedIn. I always apply on the company site.

It is so hard for black men to get hired. They really down play it.

Couple friendly suggestions from looking at your LinkedIn: 1. Delete the monthly posts announcing you’re “STILL” unemployed. You can think of LinkedIn sort of like a dating app for recruiters: desperation is a turnoff. You want to present yourself as someone in demand.

Senior director really man? That’s like 250k year at even a small company

Yeah get off LinkedIn fast!
