I share this same point of view also Ziqo.. But it seems like a lot of people in the community seem to think that “I wasn’t able to obtain this reward so it’s unfair” it’s a really privileged me me me mindset. You don’t HAVE to have every single reward/skin in a video game

The point is that items lose their prestige when everyone has them, not that everyone is gonna wear them that’s obviously not gonna be the case, people are gonna wear them for a week then they’ll go into the bin like feldrake. Newer players can get recolours and they can make the ways to obtain them a bit more interesting than crafting. Good middle ground which has been used in the past. I’m speaking for myself on my own twitter and you’re nitpicking really hard. Anyways done arguing I’ve said what I think :)

I fully agree with this take. My only suggestion would be to update the old models and allow them back into the game as recolour that is achieved through some accomplishment, mage tower or legend achiev etc. They have such an opportunity to introduce solo content with these mogs

Comparing pvp prestige rank 1 titles, mounts, elite tmog etc to something either craftable or from like nax in classic is weirdchamp to me. One was earned by being good at the game, one was earned by being anybody at that time and playing the game.. They aren't comparable?

Why not? Naxx was only cleared by something like 40 guilds at the time and was still somewhat difficult in TBC. High warlord got re added for getting 2.2 in RBG in Cata, at the time that was doable in a day. Top teams were at 3500. That was a prestige PvP reward, why not a new set of titles? It’s already happened plus people are already asking for this, see my other tweet there are plenty of comments asking for old mounts, sets and enchants to be re obtainable by grinding current content.

Spot on. Scarcity creates value. Not everyone has to have everything in an MMORPG and that’s okay.
