I mean it was stated in Maiden who travels the Planet so many years ago, that she loves Cloud and she even rejects Zack herself verbally. Why can't ppl just accept the characters development? I hope Zack can go home to Gongaga tho (where Cissnei is waiting for him)

That part made me think that she both gave them a chance but only cloud decided to grab the flower petal first and zack didn't thus missing his opportunity.
