God damn, that ending broke me.

Getting Ricky Gervais to say he believes in heaven even if it is just pretend for a TV show is a special moment.

I was smiling all the way through....until that ending....the innocence and purity of a child always gets me.

This show broke me bad !!! Is so underrated. Is a piece of art

brilliant. i used to totally hate ricky gervais an to be honest i had never really watched him but now i think he is such an amazing guy to be able to be so rude an funny with it to being so gentle an kind what a talent . cheers ricky

Such a beautifully made series. Ricky really shows in detail how grief hits hard. He plays such an amazing part. So many tears shed through laughter and sadness watching this. It truly is fantastic

Took me a while to watch this but I’ve rewatched the entire thing several times now, I’ve never watched something that made me laugh out loud and then 5 mins later had me trying not to cry, brilliantly written.

His writing in this is nothing short of spectacular! One minute you are laughing next you are crying. An amazing watch. Afterlife. If you haven't seen it find it out.

Because in the end, preaching atheism does not help these children when they are in desperate need of Hope. I am surprised and impressed to see Gervais do this scene.

Lenny doesn’t push the plot. He simply exists as loyal, daft friend — gives Tony permission to feel ight & crushed in the same moment. That’s profound friendship. That’s masterful storytelling. This is why After Life is one of the most human shows ever made. What a gift Lenny is.
