Love your breakdowns but you don't need to be on the mound to request a TO. Any player may request a TO. Per rule 5.10, umps cannot grant time if a play is in progress. Here, when they ran the runner back to first, the runner on 3rd moved off the base (hence, play in progress.)

According to little league rules, around 2 minutes when the pitcher runs the base runner back to first and calls timeout, timeout should have actually been granted. No baserunners moving/advancing and the play has come to a stop

Hey can you nudge Boone to move Volpe to second? Dude would kill at 2nd and have more focus on at bats.

With the mercy rule in LL, it makes sense to keep pushing to up the score in a tournament so your pitchers don't have to throw as many pitches and you can save them for the rest of the tourney.

All else fails lock down 3rd. If 3rd is stuck the rest are stuck.

Not as easy as you’re saying bc all the baserunner has to do is come off the bag right? And the guy on 3rd is already off the bag. What are the exact rules? Coach acts like it’s routine play. If it was they’d know what to do.
