Many also mentioned their interest in starting a commission business and their struggles with not knowing where to start. Being a full-time Live2D Artist and Business Degree graduate, I built this class as a way to provide an easy guide for anyone to follow. It covers all the mistakes and learnings of my 4 year journey as an artist, and gives you the methods I used to make a living doing something I love. While the model is free for anyone to use, the Class to learn everything from start to finish is available on my website. ⭐️Level 1 is COMPLETELY FREE, as I want you to try this method of learning, and see if you enjoy the process! 🔗You can preview all the content on my website (link below) Levels 1 - 8 of the Class will cover everything from downloading Live2D, to exporting your model. This update 1.0 will become available on: March 14th, 3PM Eastern. (Levels 9 - 13 for the business behind commissions will be included in update 2.0!) I feel so scammed, I commissioned an artist I loved for my first ever vtuber model back in 2022 for $650 but when i received it it was un-Rig-able and unusable, I even made sure to check with multiple riggers. I contacted the artist and we came to an agreement they will draw me more art to make up for it, (we agreed on one full body, one headshot, and 4 emotes) they deliver one of the art pieces about 6 months after receiving the first piece and no progress on anything else i just asked for a partial refund of $300 (image in thread). They agreed to pay this in installments, they have payed $50, then since have ghosted me, I don’t think I’m getting my money back, but I wanted to warn people to be careful who them commission models from and make sure they have the proper experience, and to avoid this artist for a model. I’ve been really hesitant to talk about this for a while because I really don’t know what to do and I wanted to be patient with the artist This is really upsetting because I really loved this artist so much and wanted them to be my mama, but my view/relationship of them is now not that great :/

It's only been a day, but my sister and I are already hard at work developing the first update for our 3D customizable vtuber model!! :D This update will be a big one, so it will take a few weeks to complete. One of the things we really want to focus on first is to add more body and face customization, starting with an increased range to our chest size slider. We also added in a waist and thigh/hips slider! We will never raise the price and all updates will be free! -^u^- Thank you for all of the feedback we have been receiving, we will do our best to keep improving the model and we are so incredibly thankful for the support! <3 Please let us know if there's anything in particular regarding body/face customization that you'd be interested in!

Please note that this doesn't mean your OC can't be created at all! Everyone's OCs are just too adorable! 🥰 I'm a bit scared I didn't do them justice, boo-hoo... 😭 (Haha, actually, I tried my best! I looked at your reference pictures, avatars, and even checked your profiles to guess your favorite styles... 👀) In fact, you can probably tell that the model has a huge potential range. If the OC I created looks different from your style, ahhhhh, please don't doubt the model!! 😱 It might just be a problem with my customization skills: ( A huge thank you to everyone who sent in pictures for our testing! For the final round, I will show the entire customization process, and the number of participants might not be very high this time, so I hope you can help by liking, following, and sharing! Thank you so much!! A Small Note Regarding Gradients As you can see, the hair texture of our model is excellent and looks just like hand-drawn art by an artist. All the highlights are separate layers, ensuring they move naturally with the hair and preventing any separation issues. The rigging of the entire model is also very natural and dynamic. ✨ However, precisely because of this high quality, the Live2D production software is struggling to handle the load and is almost at its limit. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we cannot add gradients to the model's base mesh. 🙅‍♂️ You will only be able to achieve a gradient effect by modifying the textures. To help with this, we will provide a gradient hair texture for easy modification. If you have more specific needs, you will need to modify the textures yourself or ask another artist to do it for you. Currently, we are working on adding easy-to-adjust gradients to the "Head-Only" model, but it is still in the testing phase and might be included in the second wave of updates. Ahhhhh, we really hope the Live2D team optimizes this stuff ASAP!!! 😫 We really want to add everything into the model, but the truth is, we're just out of space... so sad. A mental model everyone should know: The Regret Minimization Framework. This is how Jeff Bezos used this model to decide to start Amazon: I went to my boss and told him, "I'm going to go do this crazy thing — I'm going to start this company selling books online." This is something I had already been talking to him about in a more general context, and he said, "Let's go on a walk." So we went on a 2-hour walk in Central Park in New York City. The conclusion of that was, he said, "This actually sounds like a really good idea to me, but it sounds like it would be a better idea for somebody who didn't already have a good job!" He convinced me to think about it for 48 hours before making a final decision. So I went away and was trying to find the right framework to make that kind of big decision. I had already talked to my wife about this, and she was 100 percent supportive, saying, "You can count me in – whatever you want to do." It's true, she had married this guy with a stable career and path, but she was 100 percent supportive. So it was really a decision I had to make for myself. The framework I found, which made the decision incredibly easy, was what I called — only a nerd would call — a regret minimization framework. I wanted to project myself forward to age 80 and say, "I'm looking back on my life, I want to have minimized the number of regrets I have." I knew that when I was 80, I was not going to regret having tried this. I was not going to regret participating in this thing called the Internet that I thought was going to be a really big deal. I knew that if I failed, I wouldn't regret that. But I knew the one thing I might regret is not having ever tried. And I knew that would haunt me every day. When I thought about it that way, it was an incredibly easy decision. If you can project yourself to age 80 and think, "What will I think at that time?" it gets you away from some of the daily pieces of confusion. I left this Wall Street firm in the middle of the year, and when you do that, you walk away from your annual bonus.
