This is the most thorough coverage of the stalling (by far). For hours, the majority of posts claim Melissa has been "barreling towards Jamaica" when my eyes can see that's not what has been occurring. Thank you for honest reporting.

This the most useless map. The NWS finds it more important to display the position of the storm with respect to Newfoundland than rendering the track of the hurricane over Jamaica with any resolution. They have zoomed out enough that the hurricane icon is larger than the island.
