PDS #DOMINATOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT UPDATE We have an active pattern for severe weather ahead this end if May and June, with many more #tornado intercepts for science expected. @jakescustomdiesel and Will Clay are racing to replace the engine of the Dominator 3 in time for these severe weather and tornado episodes. Here is the new motor which may be installed as early as this weekend. Thank you to S&S Diesel Motorsport for their continued support. The Dominator 3 will be back in tornado intercept mode by Junesanity 2026. Never stop chasing

LIVE EMERGENCY UPDATE ON MAJOR SEVERE WEATHER AND #TORNADO PATTERN starting this weekend! Tomorrow there will be a threat of hailers in central Kansas, and a magic hour #tornado threat in Oklahoma on Friday evening and Saturday evening. This sequence of severe weather and tornado potential PEAKS on Sunday with a potential tornado outbreak scenario. We are gearing up the Dominator 3 for this peak season #tornado threat and are hoping to succeed in our goal of a 3D X-ray of wind and thermodynamics inside of a tornado.

Watch this big-time #tornado intercept in the Dominator 3! We measured a 120 mph wind inside the suction vortex as the tornado planted. Later that night, a powerful tornado struck Valley View, Texas. Tornado Alley has been so back. We are watching the October 20-23 window for the start of the fall severe weather season! Live Dominator mode will be back soon.

LIVE update on ACTIVE #TORNADO PATTERN for April 2026 ahead southern Plains to Midwest! The Storm Prediction Center already has Saturday-Monday risk areas for severe weather from West Texas through the southern Plains, with this first wave likely peaking on Monday. Then an active wave train establishes with round-after-round of severe weather and #tornado potential through the end of April. We are making final adjustments to the Dominator 3 and our science mission for this potentially historic pattern.
