JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. I hope I get to do this for the rest of my life… Full of gratitude and lots of all the lovely emotions. Thank you so much.”

This past weekend I won Smashkatoon 100, the largest Melee bracket in Saskatchewan history and a celebration of a wonderful community. I have never wanted to win a tournament so badly in my entire life... now it's over. Smashkatoon was my last large bracket I was planning on entering. Life moves fast and my passion for the game and community can't seem to keep up. I've met some amazing people in my travels, and have had some fantastic times. I still love the game, but my serious competition days have long felt over, Smashkatoon was my one last ride. Shoutouts to Mono, Schmeez, and Egg$ for coming out. That meant the world to me. Thank you to everyone for an amazing 10 years of Smash, 12 year old me couldn't imagine making it this deep into the weeds of it. Thank you to my brother Dunc for getting me into it in the first place and being my guardian at events. Thank you to Paul for driving me to events and smashfests. Thank you Matty and Zach for showing me how cool being good at the game is and teaching me so much. Thank you to the RGF boys for sharing my passion for something I loved. Thank you Matt, Shash, and Chandler for getting me to so many events and for helping create an awesome 2024-2025 of Melee. Thank you TXH Esports for helping with so many of my ambitions. So many people to thank I'd be typing all day. Thanks to all of you for liking my combos and finding my playstyle interesting, that's what it's all been about for me. I know, I know, "Smash retirement, see you in 2 weeks". This community now isn't what I fell in love with, and it's up to me to recognize that and not try to force an unhappy relationship. I've been putting life outside of smash first on my priority list and have never felt better in life. I'm sure I'll putter around here and there and go to locals when I can but my days of serious travel, practice, organization, production and competition are over as things are. Thank you $1 twitter premium for no character limit I will be cancelling today but you did your job good stuff. PEACE!

Mzansi National Importance Please Help. 📍🇿🇦💔 Can someone please send help? I've been employed on and off, trying to make a way for my son and me. I live in a toxic household, where you're the best when you can give money but you're nothing when you don't have anything. I have a deadbeat baby daddy who doesn't support me. I've endured so much for the entirety of my life, but I can't anymore. I wanna get away from this house where people bully me, where I'm isolated, gossiped about. I wanna flee. I feel like ending things. My family has been the root of my pain, towards myself but also my child. tonight we had the biggest fight and they tried to make me seem like I'm a bad mother because I at times keep my son in my bedroom with me, but it's because of how they treat him. The colorist comments, the way they break down his self-esteem calling him "blou ding", "k#ffer", and more. When I told my mother I'll take legal action against them, she told me that the police will see that I'm crazy. She also threatened me by saying she'll take me to court and say I abuse my child!!!! I don't abuse my child I sometimes yell at him out of frustration cause I'll tell him to stay with me but he'll go to them. He's 5 so he obviously doesn't understand why I don't want him around them. I feel embarrassed for having to come to the internet with my problems, especiially since I've always beem taught to hide the ugly but I can't anymore. 😭😭😭 Someone send help. Whether it's a ngo that can help, a job application, a learnership, anything. I just need to get me and my child out of this household. I'm tired. Ek is moeg! 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #help #toxichouseholds #deadbeatdadprob #southafrica

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.

Today I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and this is from my heart. Thank you Dad for being a wonderful father. Thank you Mom for being truly the best mother! I love you Jessica. It was a blast growing up with you. I wish I could see you all more. Thank you to all my family; aunts and uncles on my father’s side and my mother’s side. Thank you to Adalis for the 17 best years of my life. Thank you Camila for making life exponentially more enjoyable. Thank you to all the pastors who opened their platforms to me at 19,20,21,22. Guys that probably think I forgot about them like Dr. Samuel Bombara, Doug Sayers, and David Sanville. Thank you for helping me get started. Thank you to every pastor who opened their church to me to preach in the last 21 years. I’m filled with gratitude for your kindness. Thank you to Dr. Rodney Howard Browne. My life took an upward turn when I met you. You have been a true, caring friend and mentor. Thank you to our Revival Today family. You’ve never wavered in working to reach the lost. Thank you to our Revival Today Church family in Pittsburgh and now Fort Worth. You hold a dear place in my heart! Thank you to everyone who threatened to kill me for not actually killing me. We all have bad days. But mostly, I want to thank whoever is reading this. You have likely baked me something, encouraged me, or shown me kindness in some way. I hope you know how much I appreciate you. You send me ice cream. You send things you’ve made that express your love, and many times there’s no name attached, so I have no way to thank you. So thank you. You warm my heart. Thanks for caring about me and what I do. Thanks for treating me like your own brother or son. At the risk of sounding creepy, I wish I could hug you today. In 43 years I’ve had very few negative encounters with anyone. People have been so nice to me for no reason. Thank you. But most of all, I don’t know if you read Instagram or not, but thank you Jesus. You saved me. You called me. And then you took me all over the world. I have had so much fun telling people about you and your Word. You’ve kept me extremely healthy and so full of joy. Thank you for 43 years of life. I owe you everything.
