@CamarenaTequila I think there's something to that but also believe the midfield 2 (Sobo and Grav) are not ideal for the structure, which creates problems. A midfield 2 with different profiles would help Wirtz.

@CamarenaTequila Not strictly true. Liverpool were already trying to play with a double pivot CM in 24/25, but it relied on Szoboszlai being less of an attacking 10 and focused a lot on recovery runs. The naivity last season was thinking the double pivot had worked and Wirtz could be an attacker.

@CamarenaTequila But this is ENTIRELY untrue 🤦🏿‍♂️ Let’s not create a false narrative. 24/25 we won the title with a midfield pivot. Pre-Flo. Grav and Mac were the pivot. It just worked with Dom at 10 fue to his work rate. It doesn’t work with Flo currently. But we didnt change our system for Flo
