NOBODY KNOWSSSSS what an epic blockbuster is like people who lived through Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean,The Star Wars Prequels, The Matrix, Spiderman and Harry Potter. 1999-2007 was just next level and movies haven't been the same since.

This was a jaw-dropper long before mid & post-credit scenes became an expectation in theaters. Perfectly executed and created palpable anticipation for At World's End.

I rewatched the entire series (1-3) over a few days last year. Still one of the best trilogies ever made.

Peak sequel setup and character resurrection. Barbosa is awesome

Pirates is prob the most underrated franchise out there

The Post Credit scene of At Worlds End is just pure perfection and so beautifull. That last shot with the fading music... and it mirrors the beginning of the trilogy perfect with Henry singing the same song Elizabeth sang in the Prologue.

The first 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies were peak cinema for their time, akin to what the Indiana Jones trilogy did.
