It’s time to do something about it.’ How much more bulletproof glass do we have to put up? How many more prisons do we need to build? Crossing the proverbial sidewalk has become fruitless and exhausting. We have more comprehensive responses to measles outbreaks and heroin overdoses than we do to the RAMPANT and VIOLENT lawlessness in urban black communities. Like holy shit. For those who worry about the lack of controllers on Apple Vision Pro: You don't need controllers for artificial movement in VR. Here is the hand tracking alternative we built for Wooorld called 'Glider'. Pull it toward wherever you want to go. Pull it further to go faster. Movement is even more complicated in Wooorld compared to other VR apps & games as we have two modes of movement: 'Map Navigation' (first half of the video) and 'Locomotion' (second half of the video). And in many ways Glider feels better and more natural than controller thumbstick as it utilizes all three axes. *We still have lots of improvements planned for Glider.
