LMAO. This is very relatable. It is interesting how much things have changed. Those were fun times. Do people still mark Christmas like this? Where did they get that TV from? 😂

This guy always makes his content as realistic as possible. That TV reminds me of Sharp and Toshiba 😂

AND MY MAMA GO STILL BUY ME OVERSIZE WEY I GO WEAR FOR LIKE 4 CHRISTMAS

The tv is kling me 😂😂…i remember tha time …my brothers will slap the tv from the bck like 3 times 😂and it will be stable 😂

Good old days, after she measured my leg with broom, she will still buy oversized shoe 🥺

OMG! This is so beautiful to watch. So much nostalgia!!!

That turkey oil😭😂😂

Every Christmas back in those days💯

As she don buy those Chrismas shoes soo if time to wear am never reach, you nor fit see am onsite again

Oh dear God!!! Simpler times mehn. Life was so good. I h8 being an adult. It is not fun. Do people still celebrate Christmas like this???? We were so happy those days. That turkey groundnut oil was a sign that Christmas was close. APC ruined it all for us. The Christmas cards he was hanging brought me happy tears😩😩.

The generation of today kids won't understand the joy Christmas brings back in the days... back then, by this time of the month, I and my brother have started making plans of brothers and sisters we will visit to tip us happy Christmas money...chaiii🤣

I miss my mum….Christmas hasn’t been the same since she passed 😢

Awwwwwnnn everything and most importantly that card part took me back memory lanes, God rest my Dad’s soul. He so made Christmas come alive. Incredible Dad, so Christmas detailed. ❤️❤️💕💕 I will try my 🎄best with your Grandkids Dad

That blinking television is such an iconic nostalgia; it takes you back to a past long gone, and it leaves a tinge of “Tales by Moonlight” in your reminiscence. The aesthetic cloth over the TV most times is a replica of the cloth on the armrest of the parlour cushion, and it must be white with very cute designs. The millennials will be taken aback more because this was a time they recognised so well and a time the world truly felt until the Gen Zs came with their “improvements.” Truly a once upon a time. ☺️

We can also see the depreciation in the quality of lifestyle. A lots of parents used to be able to buy kings oil, not because they were middle class, because cost of living was minimal. Now we struggle to buy products that will kill us. What a shame!

Taking a nap in a house like this is like heaven on earth, especially when the ceiling fan makes some funny noise 🤭😄

This particular Turkey brand of vegetable oil brings back so many childhood memories. It was one of the best Brands then and when you use it to fry Christmas Chicken, the aroma goes on to invite the next house neighbors 😆

It was fun back then 🌚

That song.

Good afternoon Idan mi pls help a boy with big dreams a retweet from you can change everything sir pls help me tag @DONJAZZY if you’re seeing this 🥹🙏

I miss those days Christmas ☺️ me as a Muslim I don comot for house go my neighbor side.

Omg …. Dad once measured my leg with a broom and later bought a long papa dash me shoe for Christmas. It was so longer than my leg that I later used it for years.🥹😀

The world has change no suppose affect Christmas na 😁💔🤌

Remembered going to Ogunpa to get Christmas clothes. Once it's a week to December eh you won't be able to see where you are going, bodies everyone. If you mistakenly leave your parents side eh 😂😂😭😭

Now siblings don't even want to wear the same clothes because everyone is forming big boys

It’s the attention to detail for me. Turkey oil. Old school TV. Christmas lights making the endless sounds. Cards decoration Oversize outfits Broom to measure “Bata Odun” Lantern Radio Legendary mats (both worn-out & good ones). Nostalgia 🥹

His skits are always so relatable 😂❤️

You'd know this guy grew up in a proper Nigerian home All his contents are always so accurate and relatable 💯

When you need to slap the TV for it to stop blinking. Those days when broom was the only way to get out accurate shoe size

😂😂😂😂 This brought back sweet memories,my late elder sister is our market shopper😂😂,house decorator too 😂😂. I was more of the cooking cos I really love cooking. My mom would buy the clothes, shoes, measure our legs with broom sticks which I still do with my daughters 😂😂🙆♀️. The most interesting part is the sharing of food to neighbours cos aganran (new money) would be giving to you when you go give your neighbours food! Good old memories! Now, when you give some people food, they will throw it away, while some will give it to dogs!

The accuracy of hanging the Christmas cards that way and the Christmas song in the background >>>> 😂😂😂

Where i am now for years, I miss the cross sharing of food.

I miss how Christmas was celebrated then🥹

Only God know where them get am 😹😹😹😹

It hits because that era carried a simplicity people didn’t realize they’d lose. Christmas felt communal, not curated. And that TV? Always from some uncle who “knew a guy,” never from an actual store.

The guy is very creative i must say just that he too talk 🤭🤣🤣
