I’m going to assume the woman in orange is biracial, and I wonder if that shaped how she processed the experience. She seemed to keep explaining away or rationalizing what was happening, while the other woman recognized the racism almost immediately.

I would rather them turn me away like that, and not make my food. Do you really want to eat from people that feel like that about you 🤔 not me.

Italy is definitely racist. Went to a game in milan and heard monkey noises when opposition player got a pen.. bare in mind inter had Lukaku at this time and they loved him lol. It's ingrained in them. Plus the African immigrants they have there do not help with the racism.

Honestly, I love when restaurants show their racism up front. I get to keep my money. I would be pissed if I paid them money or ate their food and found out they were racist.

Not worth it. On April 6th, 2012 , I was in the U.S Navy back then and I received NATO order for a mission in Rome, Naples & Sicily ( Palermo).That was the most uncomfortable 25 days of my life. They don’t even hide their racism. The only safe place was the Naval Base in Naples.

They remind me of these 2 Canadian broads I met in Albania. Annoying as hell. Saying that though, Italy is racist.

Southern Italy is supposedly racist but I lived in northern Italy and never ever had any issues … and only met amazing ppl in Rome. One restaurant even shut down their doors so my bf and I could eat together bc we were dressed up nicely lol

Wake up! Italy and Spain are horribly racist. Oh, and Greece is not much better. you may be good people kind, courteous, and respectful, but it’s sad to say lot of African migrants, and Muslim migrants have just been horrible, and they give good ones a bad name
