I got a call on my way home from a Michelle who works at Morrisons, she had a load of frozen food that was going to be BINNED, I had to collect it and then deliver it to Coffee4Craig, there wasn’t enough freezer space and I ended up taking the left over to “Woodwood Court” in Ancoats. So, life update that worries me... Didn't sleep well last night. Was too worried if this drunk and drugged-up native was going to come back. My daughter took the garbage out and forgot to lock the door when she came inside. This guy showed up about 10 minutes later, and walked into my house. We were both just in our sleep shirts, relaxing, she in the living room and I was in ny bedroom working on an article Im posting shortly. I came scrambling out of my bedroom and found this guy plastered drunk standing in my kitchen. I immediately forced him out the door into the porch and closed the door behind me, putting myself between him and the door. He was so drunk he couldn't speak words, just mumbled. I calmly told him to get lost. He just smiled and stared at me with all his tear drop tattoos next to his eyes scrunching up. I told him again to leave. He stood there looking stupid. Finally I told him if he didnt leave I would call the cops, then I turned around, went inside, locked the door and retrieved my firearm. I had enough time to load ammo into a clip, get the trigger lock off my firearm and get back to the front of the house to find him sitting in the car still. I was waiting to see if he was leaving, or coming back. Because he gave off a vibe that he was willing to get violent for whatever he was pursuing. Just after Dave died, a white vehicle showed up and parked next door on the road at the abandoned property. A man came to my door and kept trying to get me to go to his vehicle to "look at something". Of course I didnt go with him, but it was enough to get me to hire an electrician to install the security cameras, especially after my kid's bow was stolen. I have 3 more cameras to go up still. But since Dave passed away I have to hire people to do these things and, well, its not cheap or easy and definitely hard to find someone with the time in their schedule to fit me in. I showed this video clip to a person I know here in town, who informed me this guy and his friend were revived multiple times over the weekend from fentanyl overdoses. All I know is the guy was so plastered if I lit a match while he talked he would have become a human mmolatov.i have no idea who drove him. As soon as the snow is gone, I will be fortifying my property like its a military compound so the next time one of these fuckers shows up word will spread real quick not to mess with "The Widow" as I've learned I am called in this town. Yes, I filed a police report and yes, I have passed on the footage to RCMP.

We've had no load shedding for over six months and everyone's wondering how the problem got fixed "so quickly" when we've been saddled with load shedding for 17 years 🤯 I'll tell you one thing about Mteto Nyati, he's a really nice guy when you meet him but you can feel the fire in his eyes when he talks about our country and Eskom 🔥 A few weeks ago, I attended the launch of Bruce Whitfield' new book called "The One Thing". Bruce decided to use this precious time to interview Mteto. What struck me most was how seriously Mteto took his role of Eskom Chairman. I know that might sound strange but if you consider how long we all had to endure load shedding, and when you look at how SOE's have been run in general, no wonder everyone is so skeptical. That is, until you hear Mteto speak on the topic and more importantly, you feel the intensity with which he speaks. I guess everyone is wanting to better understand the "secret recipe" that has brought load shedding to an unexpected end. Here's how I understood the process: ✅ Mteto and his fellow board members took the role seriously and therefore, it all started with intent. They also took a few weeks to try understand what the problems were from a first principles perspective. ✅ They decided the biggest issue was the problem statement they inherited. They had to change this before doing any work. Vision and strategy before execution. ✅ Mteto and the board went back to basics. They engaged with government on policy that would allow them to work with original equipment manufacturers, they went out of their way to serve Eskom leaders rather than the other way around, and the stuck to their plan despite the noise. There were many other take-aways from the night but the point is, here we are with no load shedding for six months. By every metric, the turn around has been almost miraculous, except it's not. If you EVER want an example of why leadership matters, look no further than the turnaround at Eskom. It genuinely starts at the top and we should protect leaders like Mteto at all costs. PS. The shot Tiger hit for me and my son. 2018 Open at Carnoustie. My son was 8. Not into golf yet — but the Open was in our back garden, and this might be his only chance to see Tiger live. So I brought him to the course and we went hunting. Found Tiger on the 8th. Swamped. Thousands deep. My boy couldn't see a thing. Local knowledge. We skipped ahead to the 11th and waited. Clear line of sight across to the 10th. Got there before the crowds. Tiger hit his tee shot on 10 into the bunker. 151 from the pin, a few feet from the face. And then he hit the greatest bunker shot I have ever seen live. Just us on the side of 11. Almost nobody else around. It felt like he hit it just for us. My boy is a caddie at Carnoustie now. And he tells everyone about the time his dad brought him to see the Tiger — and the Tiger put on a show for what felt like just the two of them. My dear friends and loved ones, my cousin Ahmed Sallam was trying to retrieve some clothes and belongings for the family of my uncle Baha, who was martyred last week.. While he was trying to extract some items, he found this poor cat from under the rubble. So he postponed searching for the items in order to save this poor cat... It is my pleasure to help Ahmed save him. It is a source of pride and honor for me. Ahmed and I went to the vet immediately. The cat's condition was diagnosed.. He is suffering from burns as a result of the bombing, especially in the head area. There is also a shrapnel from the head area next to the ear that penetrated the area and caused a deep wound that reached the skull bone and caused damage to the surrounding tissues, but the skull is not broken. The burns and wounds were cleaned, and he was given intravenous replacement solutions and intensive treatments, as well as treatment for the right eye due to its inflammation. It was decided to perform a surgical operation to remove the left eye, which was lost in the incident, and to amputate the tip of the tail due to its exposure to the burn and the protrusion of its bony end.. But the vet will perform his first surgery tomorrow. The vet told us to refrain from eating or drinking anything tonight and to bring him in tomorrow morning for his first surgery, which will be to remove the shrapnel from his head... This cat is a victim of this war. As usual, innocent people pay the price for the filthy actions of humans.. My dear friends and family, Ahmed and I will do everything we can to save this cat.
