While this particular story might be true, you should know that this 'documentary' is highly questionable. The filmmakers manipulated scenes to make them more dramatic, including feeding animals alcohol and setting a large bird colony on fire.

This is amazing. Wow. I just hope the unseen part of the video isn't about the dude then making the baboon lunch. That would for sure put a damper on the whole experience for me.
