Like VandeMatram, Bharat Mata ki Jai, har har Mahadev, Jai shree Ram Now people are raising questions as to why those Muslims did not chant Vande Mataram or Bharat Mata ki Jai. Was this a Metro journey or a religious rally? Imagine if these Muslim people had said Allah Hu Akbar? When Koustav Bagchi, a BJP MLA from West Bengal, asked some minority women if they were receiving benefits from the new BJP government in the state, they nodded in agreement; however, when the MLA asked if they would say "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" or "Vande Mataram," they remained silent. Why is there an objection to honoring the country while living in it and enjoying all its benefits?
