Sheer arrogance by red vehicle. He did it deliberately. I know because I have faced many such incidents but I always apply brakes before merging. Both of drivers knew about other vehicle

If I was the authority with powers, I would seize the red car for endangering safety, suspend the driver's license for a year, and impose a minimum fine of ₹50,000.

I alwys try to read your follower comments. 90% of them have no knowledge of road rules. 'common sense' analysis rules roost. No wonder accidents are so common. The first basic of any road rule : the vehicle going straight on a main road has priority over joining one.

Childhood cycle behaviour. Never look for other traffic. Everyone thinks other vehicle will adjust. Many curse two wheel drivers after they bought car and see two wheelers coming in the way. Once they did the same thing. Kids should be trained on car simulator before cycling.

To be honest kudos white car driver , he reacted really quick. Mistake are from both the end, red should have waited as he is merging from different lane, where as white should have slow down as red car was merging .

We have to reduce situations where we need to react at the last minute, which is not impossible to do.
