How do you avoid this close call? Do not overtake on curves and the bus had already done that. Now to avoid a crash,we need to slow down and give it an exit route to go back to its lane. A late reaction by the driver created the situation. I would abort my overtake of Bolero after the first sight of the bus as slowing down might create a rear end situation as well.

This is the type of incident that gets me angry….. Because there is no incident… Driver did not endanger anyone. While we see incidents of extreme close passes and and speeding vehicles posting something like this just illustrates how entitled some cyclists are. Driver stopped as car from opposite side of road pulled out … then the gap had gone … no need to cycle right up to the door …. Thats can be seen as intimidation towards the driver …. Hold back … give plenty of time .. placing increased intimidation upon the driver will cause a mistake …. I would have just held back … smiled and then carried on ….

I was driving in my lane when this White Brezza (HR05AU1533) was in the overtaking lane. Suddenly, the driver realised he had to take the flyover, turned on the indicator at the last moment, and cut across without slowing down. An accident was barely avoided, and even the cars behind had to react suddenly. As per CarInfo, the vehicle's insurance status appears to be expired (please correct me if the information is outdated). Change of plans on the road is very risky 😕 The car driver tried to go from behind as he assumed that the pedestrian would cross the road before he reached. Slow down is safer and pedestrians can prefer to pick a safe gap or a zebra Crossing !!

Location: Near Hassan Keep an eye on bikers waiting on the side of the road ! A mild honk will alert them. There are no road markings for a gap in the median as well.

I was a passenger on Tahmeed Coach the other day, traveling from Kisumu to Malindi, and to say I'm traumatized is an understatement. First of all, the driver was driving very recklessly - overtaking dangerously, bullying other motorists off the road, not observing speed limits, or climbing lanes. Sitting on the VIP seat, I was directly behind the driver and saw him cause an accident just after View Point, an hour before Nairobi.
