When you scan a barcode a image of the actual item shows in the loss prevention office. Target won't arrest you right away. They will let you keep doing it letting you think you got away with it only to keep building a bigger case on you

Pretty sure this is why a lot of stores around me force you to purchase at the Electronics section register before you walk away. I've had things I wanted to grab and they scan it themselves and made me pay before I could continue my shopping.

Its not as common as you would think, and in most places they have area's in more prevalent in and they beef up security. the Walmart I go to you couldn't even pick up a TV to check out alone if I wanted to. They are all locked up and a employee has to walk with me to the front to check out with it. I'm super white for anyone wondering even tho my father is not white. Either its fake or target has a shitty security system cos if its working as intended, it doesnt matter what barcode you scan. If the item passes thru the security scanner and it isnt scanned the alarm will go off regardless.

If the item is not weighed, an employee has to authorise it and deactivate the security tag. This what happens in the uk anyway. How is this store so retarded?!

I used to work security at target, there’s a program on the computers that is made to detect shit like this like wrong size items for the sticker that was scanned and automatically sends a alert to the computers. They will just put it in the system and stop you when it’s felony.
