The lock picking in oblivion does suck ass, gotta get that skeleton key and never return it untill you do everything in the game and return it as the final quest to do before you turn off the game for the final time.

Ah yes, the stupid Oblivion lockpick system... "Why are we still here? Just to suffer?"

Oblivion teaches you so much. For example, saving the game before lockpick.

I love watching vtubers attempt the oblivion lockpicking minigame! New players wont recognize the cues so it makes for good content.

The tumbler makes a certain noise when it’s safe to set. Behold, the super secret of oblivions lock picking, it’s kinda cool. It requires you to m develop a skill that’s not just a number on a bar but no other mechanic really does that so you don’t have an expectation for it.

I got so angry at this minigame during a quest once, that I backtracked an entire dungeon, did the skeleton key quest, then went back and forced the lock.
