It wasn’t a real 70s sci fi show unless you had the “pew pew” sound effects in the theme

Meh, it was worth a try .. I vaguely remember watching it, realizing it wasn't very good and the premise wasn't sustainable anyway. Running around the hills of Southern California every week wasn't visually interesting nor particularly futuristic.

Doesn’t look very good I remember it vaguely the 70s just didn’t have the budget for stuff like this. Planet of the apes TV series wasn’t that good neither was this Battlestar Galactica was pretty kick ass though. All these shows got canceled after one season because of budget

Enjoyed this show as a kid. Watched it last year too (it’s on iTunes) and still enjoyed it, very 70’s in all the best ways.

Brilliant TV series. I can remember watching it, and I got the DVDs a while ago; shame there's ony one series because it was different and very exciting!
