I agree with her. What’s more is that it is the owner/managers acknowledgement that the waitstaff doesn’t get paid enough but THEY’RE the ones not paying the staff enough.

I went to a place where we noticed they automatically add a tip to our bill. And when we were paying gave us the option to tip again. I’m not trynna sound ignorant but mind you… all they fkn do is bring food to our table. I was mind blown tbh lol.

That's why I never tip, unless I want to personally reward the staff for exceptional service (which is clear for both parties involved that it's meant as bonus money).

If you check their books, they’re actually breaking the law when they do that. Unless they’re paying their waiters minimum wage, not the minimum wage waiters get in addition to the tip credit.

Double tipped in Key west in one of the thai restaurants. They had 18% gratitude for 2 person party. And also a blank section to tip. Only saw it after went there twice.
