Today I want to make an announcement. Kyogen was started from my love for Ukiyo-e art and it was made real by my fam T̶h̶e̶S̶o̶c̶i̶a̶l̶T̶r̶a̶u̶m̶a̶. I was constantly looking for an artist that can hand draw Kyogen as I do not want it to be AI generated and he reached out saying he can do it. With Midjourney, Seedance 2.0, and Suno, you can create music videos that a lot of bands (especially indie ones, but even more mainstream acts) would happily release for their songs. If you ask me, this music video (song included) turned out amazing. My goal was to create a melancholic atmosphere, an impossible love story (or maybe not), like a Cigarettes After Sex song playing in a film by Wong Kar-wai. If this video doesn’t move you, you’ve got no heart. Not that long ago I barely knew what a Highland cow was. Now I’m watching a mama proudly parade around her newborn calf like it’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened on the farm. To be fair, that little muddy fluffball is pretty hard not to love. Highland cows have gone from being just another breed of cattle to having a fan club of millions, and videos like this make it easy to see why. 🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. I keep worrying, “What if they don’t want to talk to me?” So I don’t dare to start a conversation or say too much. But my friend told me, 'Just go for it! You never know if they want to talk to you or not. Sure, it might feel a little awkward or funny if it turns out they don't want to talk with you, but that's how you get closer to people.' Doing something brave, and I’m still not quite sure if I’m ready. But life really is too short and hesitation would only keep getting the best of me the more I overthink it. Wrote this the day after Come Over came out on vinyl, and decided to make the most out of a rainy day a few days later. But ever since then, I’ve just been sitting on what to do with this piece of me. Because I want the guys to hear it, and how would it reach them if I didn’t share it? Why am I fighting myself to put it out there if this is the whole point? In the end, a dear friend told me to share it anyway. Not just for the guys, but also for all of you that are probably feeling the same ways and thinking similar thoughts. So here we are, and here’s an answer to “Come Over,” written by an army for bts and anyone it resonates with. If any of you are here, thank you for listening. And bangtan, if you ever find this, just know we love Come Over very, very much. Note: Listening with headphones is best🤍
