She’s not wrong. On a more serious note, our entire society and every business could benefit from having flexible part-time advisor roles for the older generation. Think of all the wisdom and experience that is just wasted away.

I forgot the best part of my visit Saturday! I asked one of them to cut the plastic banding on a pallet of wood. His retractable knife was to dull to cut it. I suggested he change the blade. He didn’t know how! So I taught him. How can they hand him a tool but no training? 🤦‍♂️😂

Gene is always toward the back on the lumber and plumbing side. The kids hang out in the front and if you ask them anything, they will not know and will go look for Gene. We do love and appreciate Gene! 💛
