Cabbies are national treasures. The absolute vast majority are kind, upstanding, polite; their knowledge of the city is akin to eidetic. Cheers to all of you.

I once went all the way from Great Ormond Street to Disneyland Paris in a black cab as part of a paid trip for ill children. It’s amazing what they do for sick kids.

You know who is going to take advantage of this. High trust society is incompatible with the third world.
