Long live the King

I just loved how much joy he had playing.

@North2North ❤️❤️❤️ As great as he was, I feel he was vastly under recognized.

I remember watching this live. Insane how solid they all played together.

G.E. was awesome!

The other guy is good and everything, but he should have let Eddie have the spotlight on this one. He looks ridiculous dancing around like this next to EVH.

The song's title is "Stompin' 8H" (8H is the studio where SNL is filmed)

GE Smith definitely had MCE

Saw GE Smith on tour with Bob Dylan in the late 80’s, Dylan always has top notch guys in his touring band, and GE absolutely shredded his guitar. They did All Along the Watch Tower and it was as good a guitar performance as I’ve seen and I’ve seen almost all the best guys.

No soul.

GE Smith - Gilda Radner's former husband. Ed's story about this night - he was just there to support Val, but he ended up hanging with the musicians and that's when they decided to give Ed a little time to "sit in" with the band. He's also in a skit - Dinner at the Van Halen's.

EVH and Dimebag will always be the GOAT’s. I know there are many many excellent guitarists that have existed, but nobody will ever sound like either.
