..they should be wearing some sort of protective mask/N95 or stronger- they are inhaling so many dust particles-i worry for their lungs/respiratory system later in life ..otherwise very interesting video-never realized how labor intensive the process can be for a simple item!

I was just waiting for someone to throw the finished barrel into a grinder to turn it into little pellets again... 😂

Aside the long process, there’s no safety measures taken 🥹. The poor must do anything to survive

They use a lot of plastic barrels to make plastic barrels.... so what came first, the plastic barrel or the plastic barrels? 🤔 🤣🤣

People doing this wearing a pair of sandals five days a week to get by and I know guys that are upset that they “have to walk too far” for their cigarette break at work The United States is less than 5% of the world population. We are clueless of how good we have it here

The guy that gets to fill them with air and actually form the bucket has a pretty entertaining looking job compared to the rest

I always wonder, what’s the problem with these people and wearing shoes in their factories ??🤔

Impressive how they’re turning waste into useful products through recycling, but man, some basic PPE like masks and gloves would go a long way in that dusty setup. Respect to the workers for the hustle

Be sure to sterilize your barrels by incinerating them before you use them

Barefoot and burning plastic out in the open. But hey, it’s ok cause they’re not white.

This is incredibly awesome!!! I was confused at first; the process looked like they were repeating the same thing.

It's the same machine that gave rise to Captain America.

OSHA would have a heart attack to see this in America. All that loose clothing blowing around pulleys and shredders, how many have been sucked into one of those dilapidated machines?

Tooldex's profile picture

If this is India. All those tech students graduating every year, they should have this process automated without people touching this stuff and in proper clothing. Somebody explain this to me please.?????🤔

Energy waste. Crusher is used unnecessarily. If you granulate it after melting, you will not need a crusher again. All you have to do is add cutting blades after melting.

A complete 2nd melt and grind phase just to make it not even blue lol... Leave it black my G.

At least they're wearing safety sandals. Well some of them anyway

All their loose clothes and pulleys without guards makes a great work environment.

A bit too much loose clothing in such an environment. Losing a hand when this is the best work you can get with two would be awful

All that loose, long, flowing clothing blowing in the air around pulleys and belts looks like it's a disaster waiting to happen. Where is the factory? They have what they consider to be plenty of expendable laborers I guess?

I want anyone watching this to take a moment to think. If you were a person doing this job and finally made it to the U.S. for a better life...then I.C.E. tackled at your hearing and took you to a horribly packed and run detainment center then sent you back...how would you feel?

A world in which many people have to do something like this to survive while a few othersive in absolute luxury is simply unsustainable

This is why it is cheaper to make things overseas. No worries about worker safety and no carbon emissions regulations to be seen. Bet these people are making 1/50th of what EU or America workers are making in wages.
