It's not about price (although shorter system prompt will be cheaper even with kv cache), it's about overloading context with unnecessary info

Agree 100%, I tried many workflows to get the agent to do the right/expected thing and ended up with a minimal set of instructions SPEC > TEST > IMPLEMENT > RECONCILE No fancy setup, just clear instructions from what I want and how to loop, the result has been insanely better

lol so instead of just overriding the system prompt of codex, you completely switched to a new tool to lose all the cool features in codex like computer use for example
