Who can look at this and not just want to negotiate a peace-deal right away? Who would rather send their own children...i will personally agree to give up land, my land, my property, to reach a deal....As responsible adults who want Peace with Justice for all members of the human family, we must stop scapegoating others. The recognition that the evil in all humans is the source of  war may save us from the fatal sin of self-righteousness. Although it is evident that NATO’s approach to resolving conflicts is bankrupt, the mainstream media lies to us and tries to persuade us that more weapons are the answer. It we want peace in Ukraine (and elsewhere in the world) we must begin by developing a faculty of self-criticism. Under modern conditions democracy and militarism are incompatible.  Even Eisenhower warned us of the huge danger posed to democracy by the military-industrial complex, which currently is out of control. There are alternatives to war – namely dialogue and compromise.  They do not involve greater risks than our present military policies that take us to perpetual war..

This is very wrong, hard to watch. I saluet their bravery. A soldier losing a limb and still have the courage to strip the piece thats left just for a hope of survival. This is very painful to watch as human being wathcing another human going through this.

The way that trooper calmly tourniquets the left which is almost blown off is incredible. It just shows how a human body can function
