Longevity is now for embryos. Nucleus Embryo is the first-ever genetic optimization software that helps parents give their children the best possible start in life — long before they’re even born. Longevity was never just about health. It’s about thriving. That’s why this announcement also marks the first time...

This announcement has been nearly a decade in the making. I met @AmyDMarcus in 2017 in a do-it-yourself gene-editing lab in a warehouse in Brooklyn. She wrote a story on the rise of CRISPR — and the people in the lab who wanted to see the technology up close. Today, she covered our exclusive launch story. That lab taught me that the best way to learn about science is by using it. More than that, the best way to set the standard for the responsible use of science is by making it accessible to all. Nucleus Embryo is an important step toward that mission.

To our early Embryo users: thank you for trusting us with one of the most meaningful choices of your life. Today, I’m sharing the story of the first couple to genetically optimize their embryo — first and foremost for health, and then for intelligence.

Quality science and radical transparency guide everything we do. I started Nucleus because I believe in the power of genomics to make life better. That belief hasn’t changed — but the science has. What is possible today wasn’t possible just five years ago. I’m proud to build alongside @lassefolkersen, Dr. Barry Starr, and the rest of our team. Link below for an inside look at our scientific approach.

This is more than a milestone on our roadmap. Nucleus was never just for individuals to understand their health: I’ve long envisioned genomic medicine that spans generations. Some people don’t think you should have access to the choice Nucleus Embryo empowers you to make. But here’s the thing — it’s not their choice to make. It’s yours.

Science and transparency is at the core of what we do. No one better to ask about our science than our scientists. Link to video in this thread. Always happy to answer specific questions directly, too.

Wait is it Gattaca or Theranos 🤣🤣🤣 Ultimately, it's just about helping parents give their child the best start in life.
