This is sad 😔 Mark Knoller was with the press corps that asked the tough questions, there were no partisan press, they did their job, which we no longer have in the White House today.. RIP Mark Knoller and thank you 🙏

He was my favorite. I loved him. I spent many a motorcade, plane ride, filing center, event, in towner, Upper Press morning briefing with him. This is a loss for the entire WH Press Corps, Press Community and nation. He was an amazing man and journalist.

@costareports I would have a beer with that guy

@costareports MK was an institution in the second row of the briefing room. Also I used to hear his frequent sound bites on the top of the hour AM radio news.

RIP Mark

The vet reporters are so disgusted of you they are dieing to get away from you.

What a solid reporter! His contributions were huge for CBS News. He will be missed. RIP Mark

Mark was terrific. I listened to him on CBS Radio for a long time.
