This is how they talked about every panthers qb post cam. You shoulda seen what people were saying about baker and Sam. You need to have an at least mostly competent team around a qb to truly succeed. Doesn’t happen in just a year or two if you need a full rebuild like they did.

Well yeah you just can’t. It’s not 5v5 it’s 11 vs 11 and there essentially is no such thing as individual success outside of a few guys. People try and talk about football players especially QBs like they’re supposed to be superhuman but even the best struggle without real help.

I can’t remember ever being this happy for a player in the nfl. I always rooted for him. Watching him last night was so inspiring. I remember him being benched for a bit and came back better than before. And look at him now ❤️

The problem was never his ability. Orgs fail QBs more often then not. You put the right weapons and play caller around a talented r1 QB that has 2+ yrs starting in CFB and you will find it was never the QB but the play caller and lack of weapons around them.
