Your brain doesn’t know what time it is. Every time you replay that conversation from last year, that mistake from last month, that moment you wish you could take back from yesterday, your brain treats it like it’s happening right now. Same stress chemicals. Same alarm bells. You’re not remembering it. You’re reliving it, on a loop you built yourself. That's because of two things: your brain doesn't know the difference between what's really happening and what you're just imagining, and neuroplasticity means that your brain automates things that you think about and turns them into programs that it runs without you having to think about them next time. So, the more you rehearse something from the past or something you're just imagining, the more your brain builds out a reality as if that thing is still here right now. The ninth Commandment of self brain surgery is, "I must believe that what I'm doing I'm getting better at." That means if you're doing things with your mind that are making your brain better at living in the past or worrying about imaginary outcomes, you're getting better at feeling worse. So knock it off. Here’s the shift: you can’t edit the past, but you can stop rehearsing it. Every replay is a rehearsal, and your brain gets better at whatever you rehearse. Let's make neuroplasticity work for us and not against us. We call that self-brain surgery. It's not easy at first, it's hard and holy work. But remember, you get better at whatever you repeatedly do Philippians 3:13 says it like this: forget what lies behind and strain towards what lies ahead. Not denying it happened, but refusing to keep performing it. There's better stuff in the future, but not if you keep building a brain that lives in the past. Follow me to connect neuroscience and scripture every day. Save this for the next time your mind hits replay. Share it with someone stuck on a loop. GUYS PLEASE GRAB YOUR TISSUES RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS PART IS SO EMOTIONAL😭😭😭 WHAT THE FUCK, THEY REALLY HAVE THE HEALTHIEST RELATIONSHIP EVER ISTG, I AM LITERALLY SOBBING RIGHT NOW😭😭😭😭😭😭 👤: lastly, do you have any words to thank each other for the journey so far and for continuing keep going together? 🦆: that's....... 🐰: *pokes at Keng* 🦆: should I say it right here?😅😳 👤: yess! we’ve been here watching you two grow since day one, so say it right in front of us 🐰: 😂 hehe, ooyyy *points to the reporter* 🦆: *shy* what should I say?🤭 🐰: *shy too* I'll cover my ears then (so Keng wouldn't be shy) 🦆: I want to say.... 👤: Namping, look at his face while he speaks so it'll feel more sincere 🦆: I want to say that Nong is extremely talented and Nong has grows cuter every single day. he's is someone who keeps improving and getting better version of himself every day. lately, what I love most about him is how he pays attention to the little things again, just like back when we first to know each other. when work got busier, we had less time for ourselves and the people around us, so some of those small details faded. but now, that side of him is back. he’s so happy over the smallest things. recently, I bought him this little water drop toy, you guys might have seen it, and he sat there happily, smiling and talking about it for 10 minutes straight. he kept saying how great it was, looking at it all the way until we boarded the plane. I hope he keeps this bright version of himself going, because it brings happiness not only to him, but everyone around him gets to be happy just watching him smile 🐰: first of all, Namping want to thank you a lot too *gives wai* thank you for all the time we’ve spent together. he’s been such a good, adorable person. and most importantly, we work hard to maintain our relationship and be great partners for each other so well. because it's not like back in the early days, there were times where we cared for each other well, but then lose that care or closeness over time (means, kind of took those close feelings for granted so they forgot about the little things like monthly anniversary), we don't want that to happen. so whenever our monthly anniversary comes around, we try to make each moment feel fresh and new. we pay attention to the things each other likes, so we can keep encouraging and boosting each other’s energy as we move forward. of course, there are times when we get bored, bicker, or have disagreements, but the crucial thing is that we keep fighting through it together. we still want to step forward together and grow side by side together 🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠😭🫠 #KengNamping

The most dangerous belief about addiction is that it starts when you can't stop. But, in reality, any addictions starts the moment your brain decides the substance matters more than the outcome. We've been taught that Dopamine is a "pleasure chemical." It's actually an anticipation chemical. Your brain fires more dopamine predicting the reward than receiving it. Which means the hook was never the high. It was the wanting. Every addiction, chemical or behavioral, hijacks that same prediction circuit. Cocaine does it. Sugar does it. The pull-to-refresh on your feed does it. Your brain literally cannot distinguish between them at a neural level. Which is why the substance was always a distraction from the real question. Behavioral researchers noticed decades ago that addicts craving the drug is just a small part of addiction. What they actually crave is the ritual around it. Like a lighter, a walk to the corner store, a specific chair, or a specific time. If you break the ritual, then cravings drop measurably. The brain builds a network around the thing it worships, and the network often becomes the addiction. Now look at your own life without flinching: - The phone you reach for before your eyes fully open. - The snack you don't remember deciding to eat. - The tab you keep reopening. - The person you keep texting even after they hurt you. These are more than just habits. They’re the places you give your attention. And you can choose where it goes next.

jihoon knowing all the tiny details that women go through when preparing ourselves in going to concerts 🥹 he even knows that we get frustrated bc we dont look as perfect inside the venue compared to when we leave our houses and assured us that the thought of wanting to look pretty for him in itself already makes us beautiful 😭 HOW CAN U NOT LOVE THIS PERSON 🐶 i know that when it rains, your curled hair falls out and everything. i know that your makeup gets messed up and all that. i take all of that into consideration when i look at you, so please don’t worry about it too much. i just don’t pay that much attention to things like that, so don’t worry about it 🐶 isn’t it actually better that i know these things? if i didn’t know, you might think i would find it strange. but i know all of that. i know i know. so don’t worry about things like that 🐶 people with curly hair straighten their hair before coming, but then suddenly it starts getting curly again because of the humidity, and the volume in their hair completely dies down 🐶 i also know that you can leave home thinking “this is the prettiest i habe looked” and then when you arrive at the venue, you look so different from how you did at home, and then it can make you upset because the singer you like is going to see you like this. i know that. 🐶 no my hair gets flat too, and my makeup gets messed up too. when it rains and it gets humid, im like that too so what. ah you don’t have to be embarrassed. you don’t have to be embarrassed because i wont pay attention to it. you don’t have to be embarrassed. 🐶 just come comfortably, and dress up however you want. just think “i’m the prettiest today”, “i’m the coolest”. dress up looking your best and come. come and have fun. 🐶 isn’t everyone like that? when people are in front of someone they like, they want to look good right? they want to show their best selves. 🐶 but whenever it’s an important day, you get sick, or a pimple suddenly comes up on your face. and on days that aren’t important, your skin looks amazing, or you somehow keep losing weight. that’s just how life is for people. it’s not just me. you all probably experience that too. 🐶 because you want to meet us so badly, and because all your attention is focused on us, you might come with a pimple on your face. things might not go the way you want them to. i know all that. i’m a person just like you. i know what it’s like when something happens on an important day. just think of it as me not seeing those things. so come comfortably. 🐶 yeah i know you want to look pretty. and because i know how much you want to look pretty, you look pretty to me. that feeling itself is beautiful, you know? i’m grateful. it feels like you’re being considerate of me. 🐶 when you go to meet someone, getting dressed up instead of just going out carelessly is a consideration for the person you’re meeting. of course it’s also for yourself. of course you can’t help but look pretty. 🐶 whether your makeup gets messed up, your hair curls back up, or whatever happens, its the actions themselves, each and every one of them, are all good you guys. 💬 why are you making us so emotional? 🐶 i’m not saying it because i’m trying to make you emotional. it is genuinely how i feel. i’m not saying this because i thought, “i have to make them emotional.” it’s true. i really think this way. 🐶 TREASURE MAKERs, you’re all pretty. really.. you’re all pretty. i genuinely think that way.

I postponed posting these videos until now because I wanted to finish dealing with some health issues first… but , I couldn’t wait anymore because of how adorable these children are 🥹🤍 My little niece completely melted my heart. I hadn’t seen her for 4 months, and I was waiting so excitedly to see her reaction when she wore the pink Keep Silent shirt I made especially for her and for the carpet too. The moment she wore it, her reaction said everything. Until now, I still can’t stop wearing mine too 🤣 The cutest part? The way she ran to my dad saying: “Grandpa, I’m wearing Keep Silent… it means shhh 🤫” I swear my heart melted right there 🫠 And at the end of the video, when she saw the new pink cake shirt from the new collection… just look at her reaction 🤣🤍 how can i say no? As for my oldest niece…, I don’t know what kind of impact Lingling Kwong has on her heart 🤭 She loves her so much and still believes she’s AI 🤣 The way she carefully put on her sunscreen and said: “Maybe I’ll look special like Ling” 🫠🥹 That moment truly melted me. And in the third video, when she saw Ling’s new collection… just look at her eyes. That sparkle says everything. This is the impact Lingling Kwong has on the purest hearts. She was also waiting excitedly for the Dubai chocolate lip balm “like Orm” 🤣🤍 I always tell her she’s already special and beautiful just the way she is… but seeing how LingOrm influence children with such pure, innocent love is something so touching and beautiful 🥹 And this is exactly why I can never say no to them 🥰 #LingOrm #หลิงออม #Linglingkwong‌ #OrmKornnaphat‌ #keepsilent #alwayswonder

Jeff Bezos just made the most counterintuitive argument in tech. An AI crash wouldn’t destroy the future. It would fund it. Jeff Bezos: “If we go back 25 years ago when the internet was in that bubble-ish moment, no one would have predicted a lot of the industrial benefits.” The dot-com bubble erased trillions in market value. Companies that raised hundreds of millions were gone within months. The money vanished. The infrastructure didn’t. Bezos: “All of that fiber optic cable that got laid, and by the way, the companies who laid all that cable went out of business.” Billions worth of fiber optic cable buried under oceans and across continents. Laid by companies that no longer exist. They went bankrupt. The cable stayed in the ground. Bezos: “Like literally went bankrupt. But the fiber optic cable was still there. And we got to use it.” Amazon. Google. Netflix. Uber. Every cloud platform. Every streaming service. All built on infrastructure paid for by dead companies. They funded the future. They just didn’t survive long enough to see it. That exact pattern is about to repeat. Hundreds of billions are flooding into AI infrastructure right now. Data centers. Chip fabrication. Power generation. Cooling systems. Some of the companies writing those checks will not exist in five years. The market will correct. Valuations will crater. The bubble narrative will be everywhere. And the infrastructure will still be standing. Data centers don’t vanish when the stock price hits zero. GPUs don’t disappear when the company folds. Power grids don’t downgrade when investors pull out. Every dollar being spent right now is permanently reshaping the physical world. It doesn’t matter which companies survive to use it. The bubble isn’t the risk. The bubble is the funding mechanism. The railroad bubble overbuilt track that connected a continent. The telegraph bubble laid wire that enabled global communication. The dot-com bubble buried fiber that carries the modern internet. Each time, the investors lost. Each time, civilization gained. AI is that same pattern running at a scale we’ve never seen. The crash will feel like a catastrophe. In hindsight, it will look like something else entirely. The largest involuntary infrastructure investment in human history. The companies that fail will have already served their purpose. The compute layer stays. And the survivors build on top of it. The question was never whether the AI bubble will pop. It’s who will be standing in the rubble with a blueprint.

Ethan Hawke revealed he handwrites every script to memorize his lines. Sydney Sweeney: How did you prep for something like that? I mean, the immense amount of dialogue. Ethan Hawke: You really want to know? Sydney Sweeney: I’m always interested in how other people memorize everything. Ethan Hawke: Well, what I do, and I started doing this a really long time ago, is I handwrite everything like it’s my journal. When I’m memorizing, I’m not memorizing from a typewritten final draft page. I don’t want to have that in my brain, and I don’t want irrelevant stage directions to be part of it. Because sometimes scripts say, “Upset, he says: ‘Can I have a drink?’” and you can’t undo it. Sydney Sweeney: You can’t. You see it. You see it in your brain. Ethan Hawke: You see it in your brain: “Upset: Can I have a drink?” I’m like, I’m not sure. There are a lot of ways to play “upset.” It might be, “Can I have a drink?” You might even laugh on it, and that reveals something. There are all these possibilities, so you try to get rid of all that. I handwrite the whole script out. This script took forever to handwrite. Sydney Sweeney: I can imagine. Ethan Hawke: Then I do it again to see what I remember and what I don’t. Sydney Sweeney: Oh, you write it from memory? Ethan Hawke: I try to write it from memory. Then I look and see what I got wrong. That process really helps me realize, “No, it’s not that word. That word goes over here. Oh, I already used that word.” It also helps me become extremely critical of the writer, in a positive way. I can notice things like, “I’m using this same word four different times. It doesn’t seem like my character would keep using that word. Maybe this would be a better word.” You can start having those kinds of conversations. Then I try to record it with no acting. I’ll take three pages or something, try to learn them, record myself with no performance at all, then compare it to the script and see what I got wrong. Sometimes I change something that I actually like better, and then I can work that in and figure it out.
