Is that meant to be an elder thing, shoggoth, or a monster from the unspeakable mountains beyond? Not sure I am the biggest fan of portraying an elder thing or shoggoth of looking that human-like Sucks that it got axed because the studio said it "sounds too much like Promethius"

That would have been such a guaranteed classic. I’m still devastated at what could have been.

Looks like the 2011 The Thing, but honestly not complaining.
