This is Ngong, Citam church over 300m, ACK church over 200m, catholic church over 300m. Na watu wana surround hizi churches live under a dollar a day hapo ghetto Ngong. I stopped going to church because of this.

Our church had a basketbal court wamama wakasema wajengewe nyumba Yao hapo and they wonder why watu walikataa ii mambo ya church

This is crazy. Why doesn't the church invest in one entity like Islam?

The money to build the stadium was stolen by ole lenku, when kedienye left, the stadium was 30% ,but when ole lenku took over, they took all the bars(D20,D16,D12,D10) that had already been erected, kitu ilikuwa imebaki ni koroga na kuwaka carpet kwa grao, then the looting started(1)

This has to be Ngong stadium... this was the proposed Ngong complex stadium launched over seven years ago! All that's on the ground is the rotting turf and materials paid using tax payer's money and nothing to show for it! @joelenku should tell his constituents where that money is!

(Poverty/Hardship) & (Religion)

It's a gross misinterpretation of the bible. If we are supposed to live in golden houses forever, why live grandiose lives here? If we are children of God,why does a 98% Christian nation have the most elitist nation? Bearing in mind that none of the riches goes back beyond 1890.

I never understand why govts don't realise the potential of sports in our communities. Just build good sports grounds in estates (Football pitch, basketball pitch, running track) & see the positive impact it brings overall. The direct & indirect impact is severely underrated.

The problem is valuing buildings more than people.

This is precisely why we're doing demos. Boomers have a certain mindset that allows such a thing to happen. In fact, the community is lucky the ground hasn't been grabbed
