But these are the same attempts that make a goalkeeper's name. If he can't save these then he's not cut for the top.

Saving or trying to save such comes with positional awareness, no goal keeper hacks that at 22. De gea got better with age, so did Neuer and Gigi Buffon. We move !

I'm not even sure if Schmeichel, Van Der Sar or De Gea would of saved any of those. The annoying thing is most of the goal scorers will probably never score a better goal in their life. Playing against United is the cup final and peak for most players.

He will develop into a world class keeper. His positioning on these long range strikes is questionable. The reason he is rooted to the spot because he isn’t aware about his positioning. That Newcastle goal and one of the Rogers goal was savable.

The defenders spend more time blocking Lammens view instead of blocking the oncoming shot. If we played Arsenal yesterday they’d have scored at least 4-5 goals cause the amount of shots Chelsea blocked yesterday especially Lavia I doubt our players would block them.

Then there was DAVID “BEAST” DE GEA

This is the quality of epl players, if you try to stay back and let the opponent use the space, it’s easy for them to score some worldies. The only solution is try to keep the ball like pep, maresca, arteta or even slot. It’s ugly but it’s necessary.

I've really liked Lammens since he joined us but it wouldn't be out of place to say De gea would have saved many of these goals especially the R2 curlers. Saw him do it time and time again. At this point, I don't think it's a mere coincidence again, it has to be his positioning.

At every given chance, the United fanbase always find someone to scapegoat every week whether they win or lose. Such a disgusting mentality.

Lammens is NOT as good as he gets hyped out to be. His shot stopping is very average and his long kicking is not good especially given that he is 2 footed. The one good thing is he doesn't spill shots into danger generally. He actually needed competition not backup

Kepa faced this at chelsea but when they replaced him with Mendy, they stopped conceding those long range “frequently”, I realized those long range shots are “sometimes” the fault of the goalkeeper. Lammens need to address his positioning, then we’ll address the defenders later

you can think these are heartbreakers, and utd and lammens are unlucky. but no. if u look at the build up to these goals, someone switched off. someone didn't do their job. and we paid the price. this is football, people live for moments like these. u give them chance, they take.

I'm not going to write any slander against Lammens foe whatever reason. He's 22 and with everything I've seen and known about goal keepers, they get better with age and confidence. When De Gea came to Manchester United, he was a weary eyed teenager, who needed to bulk up to get accustomed to the physicality of the league. Luckily Lammens crossed that bridge before joining, all he needs to is work on his positional awareness and reflexes and he'll be fine. Delusional fans have forgotten that he made some very good saves as well last season and kept us in the game. You guys are just bitter individuals trying to slander a player that works hard to get the best out of himself.
