Put that man in the Hall of Fame

Its a crime he isnt in the HOF.

Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame! Sweet Lou did it all. @MLB @baseballhall @officialBBWAA

Lou originally was a third basemen. There was no second basemen who could spin and throw like him. Not a single one.

Egregious he isn't in the Hall of Fame

Guy belongs in Cooperstown.

Gibby made a great throw from the corner too!

Lou had a gun

Waiting for the last possible moment to react and make the tag is another reason why Sparky played Marty Castillo over Howard Johnson

Bevacqua had wheels as well! What a great play!

The perfect relay from the cut off man to the 3rd baseman 👌🏼⚾️🔥🔥🔥

How in the WORLD he’s not in the Hall is CRAZY.

I wonder what Lasorda was thinking as Bevaqua was tagged out

Should be in the hall of fame

Taylor Walls channeled his inner Lou Whitaker this week.

Should be in @GoCooperstown #HOF #travesty

Sweet Lou!

It's beyond embarrassing that this man is NOT in the Hall of Fame

And Marty C. Playin' 3rd !!! #RepDetroit

Sweet Lou!

That team was so sound defensively.

Absolute legend. Can’t wait to see his plaque in Cooperstown when I visit, because surely he’s there, right?

The crow hop while actively moving to catch the ball.... 🔥

Let Sweet Lou in dammit

Not too shabby a throw from Gibby either!!

Sweet Lou!

Hall of Famer

…and, that was a World Series play.

Sweet Lou is the greatest defensive 2nd baseman who ever played the game (much better than Ryne Sandberg, who was overrated), but that throw was way offline. He's kinda lucky that Kurt stumbled rounding 2nd base, otherwise he would have been safe easily.

Awesome play.

Good times!

Sweet Lou!

Austin Wells tried the same thing last week - slow white guy move
