This scene is so sad. As soon as she regains consciousness and control over herself she is dying. You can see the pain, confusion and sadness in her face as she is dying.

In the comics, Wolverine has bested Shang Chi in hand-to-hand combat. Here he just swings his arms wildly with no technique. Thankfully they made him an expert martial artist in Deadpool & Wolverine. All previous live-action Wolverine fight scenes pale in comparison to D&W's.

X2 is easily the best X-Men movie.
