During that time there was a competition between the US and Russia for space dominance which the US won when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the Moon. I started to suspect something was wrong when I began using studio lighting for my photography and then looked at all the pictures from NASA. Also, the other smoking gun is the moon rover. If you can fly to and land a spaceship on the Moon, why would you even need a car? And if you do bring a car, why not drive it across the surface for miles on a journey to reach an objective? Seems like a lot of weight to haul just to drive in circles and pose next to it.

There are some great in depth multi part documentaries that easily dispel the "they faked it" nonsense. Some of the solutions around hardware limitations were ingenious in their simplicity.
