wasn't that safe. After people saw the bus, they all decided to walk towards the staging areas which meant too many people. We started at the staging area and had to leave because there was small fights breaking out and people getting squashed.

I couldn’t make it up there today, but watched on the stream and credit where it’s due, the coverage was excellent. Great to actually have shots and interviews with players whilst they were on the bus!

It was a shitshow. Surely there was better logistics than the high road.

Yeah been told similar by somone there with kids, they got totally stuck in a bottleneck

If we ever get the opportunity, we should never do it ther again, the high road is too narrow and it resulted in multiple people needing medical attention. Another day and you would have serious issues.

It was very badly organised. As soon as we arrived we just knew it was going to create problems. Once the bus went by it became a crush in some places. People trying to get their kids out couldn’t move. Tempers flaring. We left almost immediately. Shame.

They have had 17 years to prepare!
